Wisła’s first victory

In the first half, Skorża put out the best squad. Łukasz Burliga, the defender on the right wing, was the least experienced player.
Wisła was pretty confident about the Slovakian team. It took the lead after Rużomberok scored an own goal in the 14. minute. When the ball was heading towards middle after a free kick, the captain of the White Star hit it with his head, and the ball took a deflection from a Slovakian defender and landed in the back of the net.
Soon after the break, Wisła scored the second goal. Mauro Cantoro, who substituted Patryk Małecki after the first half, passed the ball to Junior Diaz, who withdrew the ball from the end line and passed it to Tomas Jirsak, who was also invited to the pitch in the second half. The Czech midfielder kicked the ball right into the net and defeated the Rużomberok’s goalkeeper, Pensky. In the 56th, minute the referee refused to award the goal by Ćwielong, who used his hand to stop the ball.
Miloš Lačný scored a goal from a penalty after Marcelo’s foul, and the Slovakian team prevailed slightly over Wisła in the last minutes of the match. Wisła could have won 3:1, however, Emil Drozdowicz missed after heading the ball passed by Janik from the left side.
