By decision of coach Robert Maaskant, newly acquired Mikhail Sivakov and Kew Jaliens were given a chance to appear on the pitch, while Filip Kurto took the position of goalkeeper.

During the first 30 minutes of the match Wisła Kraków performed better than against Aalesunds FK, however the team from Kraków was once again unable to bring victory home. On 6 minutes, after a pass from Kirm, Żurawski shot wide of the goal from a distance of several metres. Several minutes later Łobodziński missed the target from 15 metres. Another failed attempt by Wisła came from Kirm on 29 minutes.

Despite fewer attempts, Vålerenga took advantage of their goal scoring opportunities. On 35 minutes Sivakov lost possession to Berre, who barged in the penalty box, passing Bunoza and Jaliens on the way, and calmly placed the ball in the net. On 45 minutes, after a tackle by Jaliens, Vålerenga was awarded a penalty shot. Kurto was defenceless against Singh’s shot.

During the second half of the match Wisła Kraków completely gave in to their rival. On 60 minutes Nielsen scored a beautiful goal from 16 metres and Valerenga was leading by 3 goals. Five minutes later Singh finished the job with a short distance shot.
