The first half of the game was not very exciting. The White Star was definitely ahead in terms of possession, but made no shots on target. The biggest chance to defeat Małkowski, Wisła had in the 7th minute, when Biton received an excellent cross from the wing from Melikson and sent the ball just above the crossbar with a header.

The second half of the game began terribly for the home team. In the 48th minute Michał Czekaj saw a second yellow card and was sent off. For the third time this season, Wisła was forced to continue the game with one player less. Korona saw this as an opportunity to threaten Wisła's goal. In the 59th minute, after Kiełb and Sobolewski's combined effort, the latter barged into Wisła's penalty box, dribbled past Bunoza, and put the ball in the back of the net. 

Fifteen minutes before the final whistle the White Star was close to an equalizer. After Genkov's shot, Małkowski kicked the ball near the attacker, who was laying on the field. The Bulgarian player tried desperately to kick the ball towards the goal, but failed. Wisła spent the last minutes of the game practically entirely on Korona's side, but was unable to score any goals.
