Reshuffled by coach Kazimierz Moskal, the team kept making mistakes, one of which let the home team score their first goal in the 12th minute. After a quick counterattack and a pass from the right side of the penalty area, Milan Jovanić was defeated by the best striker of the Danish team, Jude Ikechukwu Nworuh. Twenty minutes later, another mistake of the defence line was taken advantage of by Danny Olsen, who increased the lead to 2-0.

In the second half, Wisła improved their performance. Despite several more opportunities missed by the home team, Wisła managed to rise after a beautiful piece by Ivica Iliev. In the 51st minute, the Serbian midfielder got past the defence and scored the first goal for Wisła from the centre of the penalty area. In the 72nd minute, the White Star scored an equalizer. On the right side of the penalty area, Ivica Iliev withdrew the ball to the 10th meter where it was captured by Łukasz Garguła whose powerful attempt gave Wisła their second goal.

In the 83rd minute, Genkov had an excellent opportunity to score but he missed the goal standing two meters away. A minute before the end of the regular time, the Danish team had another opportunity to score and they did take it. The scorer of the final goal of the match was Hassan.
