ŁKS began the game ambitiously and therefore they scored a goal in the 8th minute. The ball played from the left side was passed smartly backwards by Saganowski. Left uncovered, Szałachowski managed to place the ball in the far corner of the goal. However, Wisła managed to score an equalizer in the 30th minute, when Lamey received a pass from Jaliens after a corner kick and put the ball into the net.

In the second half Wisła avoided the mistake they had made in the first half and played more offensively from the beginning. In the 50th minute after a Nowak’s mistake, Biton recovered the ball, moved it several meters and placed it into the net in the far corner of the goal. Although after taking the lead the White Star focused on defence, they still controlled the game. However, a single situation was enough to ruin Wisła’s comfort. In the 79th minute after a shot by Kaczmarek, the ball landed in Wisła’s net but the referee erroneously signalled an offside. This episode enraged ŁKS who started to launch one attack after another. They did not, however, manage to score an equalizer.
