Wisła's fans started watching their team performance with a great interest from the very first minute. All the players recruited by the Cracovian club during the winter transfer window appeared in the first-team squad.

Wisła had three scoring opportunities in the first half. Firstly, Kirm tried to drive in the ball from a few-metre distance after Małecki's shot, but he hit a goalpost, later Cikos, being in a favourable position, missed the target. Finally, Moretto showed off his reflexes and saved the home team from losing an own goal.

Pareiko did not get bored on the other side of the pitch as well. His timely intervention after Rozić's dangerous header is worth mentioning.

The second half was not less fierce than the first one, but it did not abound in clashes nearby  goal areas. When it seemed that neither of the teams would score three points in the Friday match, Małecki turned the scales in favour of the away team. The White Star midfielder dribbled one of Arka's defenders in the penalty area, and he did not give Moretto any chances with a strong shot  under the crossbar.
