The first half of the match was not very exciting. Wisła had better possession of the ball, but was unable to find a hole in Podbeskidzie's defence. It was not until the second half that the situation near Bąk's goal became really intense. In the 54th minute, after Michael Lamey's cross from the right side, Cezary Wilk got to the ball. Unfortunately, the White Star's captain shot straight at the home team's goalkeeper. Six minutes later, the rival's goalkeeper once again made a successful save, this time against Maor Melikson's shot from 16 metres. However, in the 76th minute, the goalie was powerless against Tomáš Jirsák's shot from Andraž Kirm's pass. Earlier, Ivica Iliev made an impressive effort, dribbling past three rivals in Podbeskidzie's penalty box and passing to Kirm.

Five minutes later, the score was 2:0 in favour of Wisła. Andraž Kirm scored once again, after a pass from Ivica Iliev. The home team managed to score a goal after Cohen's free kick, but Wisła's response was immediate. Tsvetan Genkov's follow-up shot after Iliev's attempt set the score at 3:1 for Wisła.
