The trialists play against Widzew
Data publikacji: 17-05-2012 10:56For its first practice match since the end of the league season, the White Star went to Gutów Mały where it played against Widzew Łódź. The match between the two Ekstraklasa teams ended with no goals.

The trialist goalkeeper, Michał Miśkiewicz, played for the entire match. He was not the only new player in the team line-up. Eighteen-year-old Konrad Nowak from Rozwój Katowice played centre midfield for 60 minutes.
Even though the game ended with no goals, both teams had several goalscoring opportunities. Michał Miśkiewicz performed particularly well and was undefeated even in one on one situations. In the 29th minute, the goalkeeper made a save against Okachi's shot and the follow up, and in the 83rd minute won a duel with Duda.
Wisła was close to taking the lead in the 22nd minute, but Łukasz Rojewski missed a shot for the far post by just a few centimetres. In the 73rd minute, Widzew's goalkeeper left the goal to get the ball away from Rojewski. Jirsák got the ball and shot from a long distance, but missed just barely. Three minutes later, the Czech midfielder shot from a free kick but once again missed the target.
The White Star's next practice match, this time against Podbeskidzie Bielsko-Biała, will take place next week, on Tuesday, 22nd of May.
