Data publikacji: 30-08-2010 19:40The White Star triumphs over Polonia Bytom 2:1 in the 4. round Ekstraklasa match. Patryk Małecki and Maciej Żurawski both scored for Wisła. Żurawski netted his first goal after rejoining the club.

Despite being currently ranked on the penultimate place in the Extraklasa classification, Polonia earned a surprising 1:1 draw in the first half. Wisła Kraków scored the first goal - in the 20th minute, the team led by Robert Maaskant scored on counterattack. Maciej Żurawski passed the ball to Dragan Paljic, who sent it to Patryk Małecki. Patryk Małecki kept calm and guided the ball past the former Wisła goalkeeper, Marcin Juszczyk. After securing a narrow lead, the host team held back and allowed Polonia to get ahead. Three minutes before the break, Polonia footballers coached by Jurij Szatałow scored an equalizer. Following a centre from the right flank by Michal Hanek, Clemence Matawu safely caught the pass and netted the ball in.
In the second half, Wisła footballers got on the attack. In the 53rd minute, Rios attempted to shot wide from several meters. Marcin Juszczyk was there to divert the ball, but Maciej Żurawski hammered it into the net. After scoring the second goal, Wisła unfortunately slowed down again. Polonia had a chance to equalize in the 83rd minute, when Erik Cikos only narrowly prevented Arkadiusz Mysona from scoring for the guest team.
