Wisła Kraków won in the favourite Extra Class match with Ruch Chorzów 3:1. The contest was played out over the whole pitch, the team reacted well after the lost goal - which meant that for the first time this season Ruch lost in their own stadium, and the White Star increased their advantage over the most dangerous rivals in the league table.

Before the match Skorża, the trainer, emphasised that to think positively about the match result at Cicha during each attack Wisła must think about protecting their backs. Not a minute of the match had passed and these words were fulfilled. From a one-on-one position with Pawełek Niedzielan went on, but returning after him at lightning speed Piotr Brożek effectively prevented completion of the action. Because later the struggle was carried on mainly in the midfield it was not until the second half that Niedzielan had a second chance. This time “Wtorka” was chased by nobody, and he sent the ball into the net over the oncoming Mariusz Pawełek.

However not even 10 minutes passed and Wisła was already equal. A very good ball to the right wing found Łobodziński, who hit the further post, from where the ball travelled 8 metres, from where Piotr Brożek guided it into the net. The Wisła defender took part in the action that put Wisła into the lead. Marcelo, reliable in such situations, converted his pass from a throw in into a goal. In the last minute of the match Małecki decided the result of the game, and completed the perfect action of Diaz. The Costa Rican ran with the ball for over 30 metres and even though he was one-on-one, he passed the ball back to “Mały”.
