The White Star could have started the match with a bang. Already two minutes into the game, Kamiński's shot went in, but the referee decided the attacker was offside after Kirm's pass. Instead of gaining the lead from the start of the game, Wisła had to wait for a goal until the end of the first half. Melikson went on his own and delivered a great pass to Wilk who confidently slotted the ball in.

Wisła started the second half just like the first – in spectacular fashion. This time, however, Wisła's goal from the second minute was not disputed. The goal was scored by Daniel Sikorski, a debutant in the White Star's line-up.

The opposing team's response came already in the 58th minute. After Cizek's shot, Wisła's lead dropped to 2:1. Just two minutes later, Wisła had a great opportunity to increase the lead, but Łukasz Garguła failed his penalty kick and hit the crossbar.
