Serge Branco joins Wisła
Data publikacji: 25-09-2010 12:06Serge Branco, a Cameroonian footballer, signed a contract with Wisła Kraków. Having undergone both medical and football tests successfully, he signed the contract which will be binding for a year.

“I‘m happy because I’ve signed a contract with Wisła today. We’ve been holding talks about it for a few days, and I’ve gone through medical tests. I’m glad as I’ll be able to play in the team and fight for victories,” said the footballer right after signing the contract.
Serge Branco is a gold medallist with the Cameroon team from the Sydney Olympic Games. He had played in German, English, Russian and Greek leagues prior to his transfer to Wisła. He is able to play as a full back on both sides or a defensive midfielder. “The coach knows that I can play at all these positions and it isn’t a problem for me. What’s important to me is to be on the pitch. It doesn’t matter which position I’ll be at,” assured the new player of the White Star.
His certificate, which is supposed to be sent to Cracow by his previous club – Levadiakos, is needed so that he could make his debut in Wisła’s colours. “I don’t know when the certificate arrives. That’s not my department; I’m to play football. I have to wait and the people who are responsible for formalities will take care of it,” said Serge, and added that he hoped all the documents needed would be collected by Sunday.
