Inauguration of the 2014/2015 season is approaching fast. Franciszek Smuda's team will play the first match in the Lublin region, in Łęczna. "We're going into the territory of newcomers, who returned to the Ekstraklasa after several years of absence. We expect a difficult task, but we are aware of our own strength and we are going there to bring back three points. The rivals will be playing their first game at home, so they will most likely approach the game very emotionally. If we will show our advantage, it should be fine "- says Paweł Brożek.

"When it comes to my health, everything is fine. On Friday I'll be ready to play. Break was not especially long, so it seems to me that in terms of endurance nothing is lost. From the psychological standpoint, as a team, we feel prepared. When it comes to physical matters, we shall see. The first match is always a kind of unknown, " adds the last season’s best shooter of the White Star. In the first part of today's training, the players were supposed to improve the dynamic power and speed.

After working out with barbells they were instructed to play. Alan Uryga went into today’s practice with dressing on his chin, covering the four stitches he acquired after the match with Soła Oświęcim. Two more training sessions await Wisła players this week. After the one on Thursday, the team will leave for training camp and on Friday - the struggle for points will begin.
