The dark horse of third league defeated the first league rival 4:2. Even though it was GKS who opened up the score, the team from Luboń was already winning 2:1 after the first half. Just after halftime, the home team scored their third goal, practically securing victory. Although in the 70th minute, Katowice managed to reduce the goal difference, near the end of the game LKS raised their advantage to 4:2.

The 16th-finals game of the Polish Cup between Luboński KS and Wisła Kraków will take place on 11 August at 2:00 p.m.
