Wisła controlled the game from the outset. Boguski had an excellent goal-scorring opportunity just 5 minutes after the first whistle, but the ball went past the goal-post. Just 10 minutes later Diaz had a similar chance to add his name to the scorer’s list, but kicked the ball past the goal-post. Wisła took the lead in the 16th minute. Małecki kicked the ball from the end line on the right all the way to the penalty area of the host team. Paweł Brożek made a header and the ball nestled in the back of the net, passing Mucha, Legia's goalkeeper.

The second half began with a powerful shot by Wisła. Just a few seconds after the break, Boguski entered the penalty area, outplayed Szala and Mucha and found himself all alone in front of the goal. Surprisingly, he somehow missed. A moment later Boguski made another shot from the Legia’s penalty area but Mucha pushed the ball away and Wisła was awarded a corner. Małecki crossed the ball from the corner and Paweł Brożek knocked it past the goal line.

Wisła triumphed once more in the 70th minute, when Paweł Brożek received a pass from Boguski. „Brozio”sent the ball over Mucha and scored the third goal for Wisła.
