Mączyński and Kowalski return to Wisła

In the autumn season, Mączyński supported the first team of ŁKS Łódź in 13 matches of the Polish First League and one match of the Polish Football Cup. He scored one and assisted on many more goals for ŁKS Łódź. In an interview in October 2009, Mączyński said that his contract with ŁKS allowed him to improve his skills and that he was praised for his progress. The midfielder had the option to stay in Łódź until the end of this season, but Wisła decided to terminate the loan period at an earlier date. Starting from January 2010, Mączyński will arrive to Kraków to join the White Star footballers in their training activities.
Wisła also welcomes Mateusz Kowalski who returns from Piast Gliwice. During his loan period, Kowalski played 26 matches, including 23 Ekstraklasa meetings. ‘To call yourself “an experienced player", you need to play a lot more matches. Still, the number of 20 games speaks for itself, and I was able to take an insight in the Polish football league' – Kowalski told us. Kowalski scored one goal for Piast in a match against Cracovia.
