Henryk Kasperczak as the New Coach of Wisła

"The most important thing for me today is that I can work with the club as coach again and in a way finish my job here. I believe, it will be a great opportunity for me to express my gratitude to Mr. Bogusław Cupiał for his confidence in me. I also wish to thank him for giving me the chance to manage the team. My primary objective is to win Polish Championship with this team”, said Kasperczak.
Henryk Kasperczak is well known to the fans of Biała Gwiazda. He coached the Wisła team in the years 2002-2005. Together with the Kraków team, he won Polish Champion titles and in 2003 and advanced to 1/8 of the UEFA Cup. Earlier, he worked as coach in France with such clubs as FC Metz, AS Saint-Étienne, RC Strasbourg, Racing Club de France, Montpellier HSC, and OSC Lille. He was also the coach of the national representations of the Republic of Côte d'Ivoire and Tunisia.
Having parted with Wisła in 2004, Kasperczak coached the representation of Senegal and Górnik Zabrze team from September 2008 until June 2009.
The new coach signed a two-year contract with the Club.
