Hapoel scores twice in sparring match
Data publikacji: 24-07-2012 11:41In the second game of the training camp in Slovenia, the White Star lost 0:2 to Hapoel Tel Aviv.

After a very promising first half, the final score of the match turned out disappointing for Wisła. Already 8 minutes into the game, Wisła was close to taking the lead when a stray ball from Hapoel hit Łukasz Garguła and went just above the guest's crossbar. Five minutes later, Tsvetan Genkov's attempt was denied by Hapoel's defence. In the 23rd minute, Maor Melikson wasted his attempt by passing the ball instead of shooting from an acute angle. Fifteen minutes later, Łukasz Garguła found himself inside Hapoel's penalty box after a pass from Genkov, but the midfielder shot straight at the opposing goalkeeper. The guests only had one attempt at Sergei Pareiko's goal in the first half. In the 40th minute, Shay Abutbul's free kick hit the crossbar.
For the second half, Wisła fielded the second line-up. The experienced Hapoel players managed to pass through Wisła's experimental defence formation twice. In the 54th minute, Tal Ben Haim, returning to Israel after several years spent in the Premier League, passed inside the penalty box to Victor Merey, who easily defeated Kocoń. The second goal was scored near the end of the match by Eden Shrem from a through pass.
