Wisła Kraków signed a four year contrach with Croatian defender Gordan Bunoza. His task at Wisła will be to replace Arkadiusz Głowacki on the field. “I know this is going to be a challenge for me. Głowacki was the club’s icon, he played in Poland’s representation. However, I am here to try to fulfil this task. I hope that I am successful” – said Gordan.

Gordan Bunoza is Croatian, who was born on 5 February 1998 in Ljubuški in Bosnia. He has dual citizenship. For now, the player plays in the youth representation of Bosnia and Herzegovina, although he may, in the future, represent Croatia.  He was appointed to the U-21 team, which is currently fighting to advance to the youth European Championships, which will take place in Denmark. In the eliminations, Bunoza played in 4 matches.

Gordan is 195 cm tall and weighs 85 kilograms. He is the central back, who appeared in clubs such as Austria Kärnten and Hrvatski Dragovoljac. In 2009 he went to another Croatian team - NK Karlovac. Bunoza played 27 matches at Karlovac and scored one goal.

“Wisła is like Dinamo in Croatia. I know this is a large, strong team, who always fights to win the Polish championship. I think that coming to Wisła will be a subsequent move to a higher level in my sports career” – said the player.
