Goal Punosevac, supported by Ba
Data publikacji: 23-01-2010 09:25Wisła Kraków lost against Karpaty Lviv1:2 in the first training match, played at the training camp in Turkey. The White Star goal was scored by Bratislav Punosevac, with the support of Issa Ba.

During the first minutes there was no precision on the pitch. Wisła achieved its first accurate shot in the 34th minute, and Karpaty had already chalked up an accurate shot that scored a goal. After a pass from the left side Kożanow was positioned in front of Filip Kurto and did not waste this opportunity. After the already mentioned 34th minute the Wisła advantage on the pitch increased considerably. The White Star created several chances for itself, and should have made use of at least one of them. Indeed the Kraków eleven lacked a goal scored in this period at the end of the game. During this period Kirm shot twice, Marcelo also had a chance.
In as much as the end of the first half belonged to Wisła, Karpaty dominated the beginning of the second half. Batista exploited one of many chances for Karpaty, and did not spoil the situation when facing Kurto. He passed the Wisła goalkeeper and directed the ball into the empty goal. Wisła replied with a goal in just three minutes. A pass into the penalty area was headed on by Issa Ba, and Punosevac from a sharp angle shot under the crossbar. The tried forward may regret that his attempted overhead shot in the 72nd minute was unsuccessful. An equally good goal might have been scored by Rado, who shooting from outside the penalty area hit the crossbar.
