The White Star showed absolutely no mercy to Śląsk Wrocław. In its best game this season, Wisła defeated Śląsk 3:1. The team from Wrocław went down to 10 men due to the red card (25') given to Celeban.

Wisła footballers went on the attack from the first whistle. Paweł Brożek wasted two perfect goal-scoring opportunities, Piotr Ćwielong also failed to take advantage of his clear-cut chance. When Piotr Celeban was awarded a red card after his foul on Paweł Brożek (25’), it became obvious that Wisła would finally use its numerical advantage. After 5 minutes, Wisła scored the first goal – Paweł Brożek took advantage of a mistake by Łukasiewicz and scored in one-on-one with Vazgec. Third time lucky for „Brozio”.

Wisła pressed hard on attack early in the second half, until it scored the second goal. Kirm kicked the ball to the penalty area from the left side to Piotr Ćwieląg. „Pepe” turned around with the ball and left the goalkeeper with no chance. Kirm also assisted in the third goal scored by Małecki (78’). A few minutes later, Śląsk Wrocław managed to score an equalizer. Dudek converted a penalty after Alvarez’s foul on Spahic in the penalty area.
