First, they defeated Warta...
Data publikacji: 16-07-2012 15:34On the last day of the training camp in Prusim, Wielkopolska Province, the White Star secured a solid 3:1 victory over first league Warta Poznań. Wisła's attacker, Tsvetan Genkov, was in particularly good form, scoring all three goals for the White Star.

Wisła's coach, Michał Probierz, chose his strongest line-up for the game against Warta Poznań. However, his team was unable to break through the opponent's defences for the entire first half. Warta's attempts were just as unsuccessful. The pace of the game picked up in the second half and spectators were treated not only to four goals, but also two wasted penalty kicks. Magdziarz failed his attempt in the 60th minute, and Melikson followed just three minutes later.
In the end, neither of the two goalkeepers got to keep a clean sheet. In the 68th minute, Tsvetan Genkov opened the score defeating Lis from several metres. Ivica Iliev assisted this goal. Just six minutes later, Bartłomiej Pawłowski scored an equaliser. However, it was Wisła who had the final say.
Ten minutes before the final whistle, Genkov defeated Lis with a header after Burliga's cross from the left. In the last minute, "Ceco" scored his third goal, once again assisted by Ivica Iliev.
