First points lost
Data publikacji: 21-09-2009 11:44This is the first match this season without a victory for Wisła, whose hopes for the seventh victory in a row are now finished.

Throughout the first half, Polonia Bytom created a single goal-scoring opportunity. In the 17th minute, Marek Bažík made a long, low pass and put the ball in the back of the net. The ball passed Mariusz Pawełek by inches. The home team set out to make up for the lost goal, but Wojciech Skaba was quick off his line. Patryk Małecki had several clear-cut chances, but his kicks proved too weak to defeat Polonia’s goalkeeper. Andraż Kirm missed his opportunity in a one-to-one situation with Wojciech Skaba, and Paweł Brożek failed to hammer the ball in. Finally, in the 25th minute, Junior Diaz put the ball in the back of the net, but the referee decided it was an offside and disallowed the goal.
Wisła prevailed in the second half; it had excellent chances, but failed to finish them. Andraż Kirm and Jirsak both hit the woodwork. Finally, just 6 minutes before the final whistle, the home team scored an equalizer. Piotr Brożek passed the ball to Piotr Ćwielong within Polonia’s penalty area. „Pepe” shot on target and scored the first goal for Wisła.
However, there was no time left to fight for another Wisła’s victory.
