First match won, third goal for Dudu
Data publikacji: 15-08-2011 14:00Wisła Kraków defeated Zagłębie Lubin 1:0 in the third round of T-Mobile Ekstraklasa. The three point goal was scored by Dudu Biton.

The first half definitely belonged to Zagłębie in terms of goal scoring opportunities. The visitors created three sure goal situations, however Pawłowski, Małkowski and Hanzel did not take advantage of those opportunities. In the first half of the match the home team only had one good situation. In the 17th minute Garguła struck the crossbar and the ball landed right on the goal line. In the second half Wisła was attacking more aggressively. Only four minutes after the whistle one of Zagłębie's players hit the ball with his hand inside the guests' penalty box. The referee awarded a penalty shot and Dudu Biton executed it calmly. This was the attacker's third goal in a row in league matches.
A quarter before the end of the match midfielder Andraž Kirm stormed into Zagłębie's penalty box and was brought down by Bojan Isailović. The referee once again awarded a penalty shot. Kirm himself took the shot but sent the ball straight into Zagłębie's goalkeeper. With Zagłębie not giving up until the final whistle, the missed penalty shot could have had dire consequences. In added time David Abwo was close to scoring a goal but his shot was blocked in the last moment.
