Wisła took the lead after the first 6 minutes of the game. Paweł Brożek once again proved his goal-scoring prowess. It was “Brozio” who and hammered the ball in after he got a pass from Łobodziński. The final score was decided in the second half. Jirsak took possession of the ball and exchanged passes with Paweł Brożek. The Czech midfielder had nothing else to do but to put the ball in the back of the net next to the host team goalkeeper. After another 5 minutes Alvrez scored another goal for Wisła. Pablo offensively entered the penalty area and was spotted by Małecki, and the Uruguayan made a powerful shot in the long corner of the goal. This was the first goal of the Uruguayan outside defender for Wisła Krakow.

The home team had a few goal-scoring opportunities at the end of each half. Gonzalo was close in the first half in a one-to-one situation with Pawełek, but shot against the post. The same happened 45 minutes later – Fabian passed Juszczyk and once again shot against the post. A moment earlier, in the 85th minute, Ruben Rasco headed the ball but missed by inches.
