FC Levadia Tallin to challenge Wisła!
Data publikacji: 02-07-2009 09:57The Champion of Poland, Wisła Kraków, will start from the second round. The White Star will play against Levadia Tallin, the Estonian champion in the opening match in Sosnowiec.

FC Levadia Tallin has won the Estonian championship title for the sixth time in total, and for the third time in a raw. In addition, FC Levadia Tallin is a fifth-time winner of the Estonia Cup and a third-time winner of Estonia SuperCup. Igor Prins, an Estonian football coach, has been working with the team since March 2008.
Indrek Zelinski is the most experienced player of Levadia Tallin. Aged 34, the attacker started his career in Estonia and continued to play in Scandinavian clubs. He used to score goals for FC Lahti (Finland) as well as AaB Aalborg and BK Frem from Denmark. He played 102 matches as the Estonian national team attacker and scored 27 goals.
The Estonian league plays according to a spring - autumn system. The league kicks off around March, and ends at the end of November. The 'Meistriliiga', which is the top division of the Estonian Football Association, features only 10 teams: six professional and four semi-professional ones. FC Levadia Tallin is the current leader of the 'Meistriliiga', with 41 point won in 15 games. The team under the command of Igor Prins has so far scored as many as 51, and lost only 9 goals.
The first second-round match will take place on 14th or 15th July, the return match will be staged a week later.
