The first minutes of the match of the Wisła players on the Hutnik stadium allowed surmising that the Kraków team would easily defeat Arka occupying 13th place in the table. Already in the 3. minute, the hosts could have shot a winning goal. Paweł Brożek withdrew the ball to Boguski, who despite having an excellent opportunity missed it. In the 17. minute, it was close after the distance shot by Pablo Alvarez. Shortly before the break, Paweł Brożek was close to the goal after the head shot by Małecki missing it by only a few centimetres.

In the first half of the game, Wisła was dominating on the turf; it was more aggressive and created many opportunities to endanger the goal of their opponents. However, it was the Arka who enjoyed the winning goal as first. In 35. minute, Marcelo made a mistake which had far reaching consequences. The Brazilian midfielder lost the ball on his own half. It was taken by Joel Tshibamba, whose first shot was defended by Pawełek turning out to be helpless in front of the rebound.

In the first minutes of the second half, Wisła had a perfect opportunity to even the score, yet Patryk Małecki kicked the ball too lightly from the distance of seven metres. The visitors players calmly and did not allow themselves to make any mistakes which could cost them a goal. Although, Wisła players had some good situations, neither Rafał Boguski, nor Paweł Brożek, or Patryk Małecki were able to defeat Arka.
