Chorzów started the match off at full throttle. One of the tackles ended with Maor Melikson getting injured. Wisła's midfielder had to leave the pitch after only 27 minutes.  Before halftime, Marko Jovanović and Osman Chávez also clashed with the opponent, but were not injured. Only 15 minutes into the match, Patryk Małecki tripped on the ball and sprained his ankle.

Cheered on by 1500 supporters, Chorzów put up resistance, but it was Wisła that went into the locker room with a one goal lead. In the 42nd minute, Dudu Biton scored yet another beautiful goal. Following Marko Jovanović's pass from the right side, Biton took advantage of Perdijić's mistake.

In the 56th minute, Chorzów managed to tie the score. After a corner kick, Igor Lewczuk defeated Pareiko with a header. Less than 20 minutes later, Wisła once again took the lead with Kirm's goal. Moments later, the score was once again even, but Wisła had the last word. Jirsák and Kirm exchanged short passes after a corner kick, and Kirm crossed the ball towards the far post, where Júnior Díaz topped it off with a header goal.
