Data publikacji: 28-05-2012 10:48Wisła Kraków is strengthening its ranks before the new season. The first player obtained by the White Star is Arkadiusz Głowacki, a player well known to Wisła supporters. The defender has signed a two-year contract with the club.

This will be Głowacki's second term in Wisła. The player has already represented Wisła between 2000 and 2010, appearing in 285 matches and scoring 10 goals. Together with Wisła, he won six championships and was captain of the team for numerous years.
Głowacki left Wisła for Trabzonspor, where he played for two seasons. During that time, he appeared in 33 Turkish league matches as well as in European cups, including six appearances in the Champions League. Now, the player is returning to the White Star.
"The moment I left Wisła for Trabzon, I knew I would return. I just wasn't sure in what role. When the opportunity arose, I knew I couldn't play anywhere else. Wisła's offer was the only one that mattered. I'm happy it happened," says the defender. "To me, it's not just a sentimental journey. I'm returning to Wisła to win, prove myself and give my best," added Głowacki.
