A draw for the start of the league
Data publikacji: 21-02-2012 15:18Wisła Kraków failed to take advantage of T-Mobile Ekstraklasa leader's trip, and after a 2-2 draw against Zagłębie Lubin during the league's spring inauguration is still 10 points behind Śląsk Wrocław.

During the first minutes of the match in Lubin, Wisła was a completely different team from the one that played against Standard a couple of days earlier. Kazimierz Moskal's team seemed distracted and the home players used that fact to their advantage. Zagłębie waited for Wisła's mistake. That finally happened in the 18th minute when Pareiko failed to intercept a cross from a corner kick. The ball fell right in front of Banaś, who slotted it in from a couple of metres.
The loss of a goal motivated Wisła to play better. In the 27th minute, Lamey was close to equalizing, but Ptak made a very good save against the Dutch player's header. However, three minutes later Ptak was powerless to Iliev's shot from several metres. Even before halftime, both teams created good goal scoring opportunities, but Pawłowski's lob was stopped by Pareiko, while Zagłębie was saved by a post.
Ten minutes into the second half Wisła took the lead. Maor Melikson made another good pass back to Andraž Kirm on the 15th metre, and the Slovenian put the ball in the back of the net. However, the home team was determined to equalise. In the 80th minute Pareiko was defeated by Abwo.
