Beto was born on 31st May 1987. He is 188 cm tall and weighs 83 kg. He made his debut in Palmeiras Sao Paulo. He played in the Palmeiras junior teams, as a reserve player, and has been loaned to a number of other Brazilian clubs. He has been recently playing for Clube Atletico Bragantino.

The 21-year-old player has been selected to the Brazilian national under-21 football teams, and was once nominated the best young footballer in Brazil.
