His injury was supposed to force him out for a few months, but his latest 90-minute appearance showed that Paweł Brożek is raring to go after full recovery. In the game against Górnik Zabrze, "Brozio" scored two goals and saved his chance to become the top scorer this season.

The hosting team was prevailing from the start, but the guest players soon took the lead by scoring the first goal. In the 14th minute Adam Banaś defeated Mariusz Pawełek. The White Star defenders claimed the goal was an offside, but the goal was scored correctly as the injured Zieńczuk found himself lying on the pitch.

From this moment, the White Star got stuck in. The Wisła team was in excellent spirits and an equaliser was just a matter of time. Before Paweł Brożek scored his first goal, the White Star players hit the goalpost three times, and “Brozio” shot from an offside position. In the 29th minute, Paweł Brożek equalised for Wisła 1:1. After a shot by Junior Diaz the ball was kicked out by Damian Gorawski and intercepted by Paweł Brożek, who put the ball in the back of the net with a powerful shot.

At the beginning of the second part of the game, the White Star lost some of its spirit. Skorża introduced three new players to the game, which proved to be the right call.  It worked –  Ćwielong made it to the pitch in the 62nd minute and soon passed the ball to Boguski, who scored 2:1. Łobodziński was introduced to the game in the 69th minute and assisted on the goal by Paweł Brożek. The White Star won 3:1.
