Data publikacji: 10-12-2008 10:59Wisła's players trained for the last time this year on Saturday before heading off to enjoy more than a month long break. The team will meet again on January 12th. The White Star's preparation plan for the spring season has already been announced.
On Monday, January 12th, at exactly 12:00 Wisła’s players will begin their frist training session of 2009. Following a week of training and tests, which will primarily take place at the artificial pitch in Skotniki, the football players will depart for their first training camp.
On Sunday, January 18th, the team will fly to Valencia, where they will train for nearly two weeks in the nearby town of Oliva. The team’s first training camp will be located in the same place as last year. During their stay Wisła’s players will test their strength against a team from Spain’s III League, FC Zürich, Steaua Bucharest, and FC Kärnten or a team from Russia’s I League.
Wisła’s players will return to Kraków on January 30th and will return to their training regimen following a two day break. The scenario from the beginning of their preparations will then be repeated: one week of training in Kraków followed by a Sunday departure for Spain. This time the team will head for Malaga, as the White Star’s second training camp will be held in Estepona, where Wisła will play against Broendby Copenhagen, Dynamo Kiev, Dynamo Moscow, as well as a team from Norway’s I League or Zenit Sant Petersburg.

On February 21st Wisła will play a sparring match against Piast Gliwice, while one week later the team will walk out onto the pitch in Bytom to play their first Ekstraklasa match of the year.
