The match wasn’t a particularly eye pleasing spectacle, with both teams neglecting to create many goal-scoring opportunities. As early as the 2nd minute of the match Beto failed to take advantage of a mistake made by Rużomberok’s goalie when kicking out the ball.

Towards the end of the first half the guest team responded with a good play. Bozok charged into Wisła’s penalty area, and it was only thanks to an accomplished save by Mariusz Pawełek that the Kraków team was rescued from the loss of a goal. The White Star scored a moment later. In the 38th minute Patryk Małecki crossed the ball from the right side of the pitch into the Slovaks’ penalty area, where Piotr Ćwielong headed the ball into the net from a just a few meters in front of the goal.

Another goal was scored in the second half of the match, this time by Rużomberok. In the 69th minute of the match Milos Lacny, who had been substituted in during halftime, took advantage of a pass from Dubka and defeated Mariusz Pawełek at close range. Coach Skorża’s players had a chance to secure a win in the last minutes of the match, but Sebastian Leszczak’s shot ended up hitting the side net.

This was Wisła’s last sparring match before the team departs for the Spanish town of Estepona, where their second training camp will be held. The White Star is scheduled to play three control matches while in Spain.
