Published: 06-09-2010 12:00Wisła Kraków wins 2:1 in a friendly match against Resovia Rzeszów, a football club celebrating the 105th anniversary of its establishment. Nourdin Boukhari made his debut appearance in the White star team, and spent 74 minutes on the pitch.

Both teams arrived at goal-scoring opportunities after the first 20 minutes of the game. Mateusz Kantor angled the ball from the corner of the penalty area, and Milan Jovanić only narrowly punched it over the crossbar. From then on, both teams hustled and bustled every few minutes in the opposite team's penalty area. Finally, Wisła was in the lead from the 37th minute. It took a long time before the ball entered the penalty area, and Rios placed the ball perfectly into the far corner of the goal.
Wisła prevailed in the second half. This can be also attributed to substitutions in the team of Resovia introduced after the break. As many as 14 new players made it to the pitch.
Maciej Żurawski wasted two excellent scoring opportunities, and even got past the goalkeeper but failed to drop the ball into an empty net. „Żuraw" failed, but Tomas Jirsakow succeeded. The Czech midfielder headed the ball into the net after a nice exchange of passes with Piotr Brożek. The host team shot a consolation goal at the very end of the game, when Pontus received a pass from the right and scored.
