It was clearly visible from the very beginning, that Wisła had not played in this formation before. The coach changed the entire centre of the midfield when compared to the match with Litex by employing Wilk, Jirsak and Nunez.

Despite Wisła’s poor performance, they still managed to prevail over their opponent. Within one minute, Wisła players had two one-on-one situations. First, after a quick ball exchange with Iliev, having only the goalkeeper in front of him, Nunez missed the goal. Then, Iliev found himself in a situation similar to the one he took advantage of against MKS Sławków, but he did not finish it with a goal.

The second half started with a heavy attack from the German team. Substitution player Terranova kicked the ball from 16 meters and forced Jovanić to show his skills for the first time in the match. Wisła’s response came in the 57th minute and ended up with a goal. As a result of the ball played hand, Wisła was granted a penalty that was executed by Małecki.

Rot-Weiss had two excellent opportunities at the end of the match but thanks to Jovanić’s interventions, Wisła did not lose a goal. First, after a pass from the left side, Ellmann shot with his head, but the ball was knocked away by the goalkeeper who showed superb reflex. In the 84th minute, a power shot by Terranova was saved by Jovanić.
