Wisła Kraków celebrated two hundred appearances in European cups with a victory. Thanks to a smart and effective strategy, the White Star defeated Danish Odense BK 2:1 on the rival's stadium, and still has a chance of advancing to the next round of Europa League.

The match started off on a bad note for Wisła, as only 2 minutes into the game Andreasen received a pass from the left side and sent the ball just above the crossbar with a header from a couple of metres. However, later on we saw the same White Star from the first half of the match against Śląsk. In the 20th minute Wisła took the lead after a nice move by Garguła and Biton's flat shot goal against Toppel. The home team immediately went for the equalizer, but their efforts were quickly thwarted. In the 28th minute the White Star made a textbook counter attack. First, Biton got the ball and attracted the defender's attention. He passed to Małecki, who made a long run, shifted the ball to his right foot and slotted it in the far corner, raising the score to 2:0.

It seemed that Wisła would continue their great play in the second half, as only a couple of minutes after the counter attack Łukasz Garguła hit the post from a nice shot, but in the 51st minute Odense scored an equalizer. The White Star's defenders failed to stop Falk, who found himself one on one with Pareiko and scored with a flat shot inside the far corner. This goal, however, did not discourage Wisła and the team, with some minor exceptions, played calmly, remaining in control until the final whistle.
