For A-Class club MKS Sławków, the sparring match with Wisła was an opportunity to celebrate their 90th anniversary. For Wisła, this was their only match in Poland before they play the qualifier for the Champions League. Robert Maaskant had a chance to watch the new players: Ivica Iliev and Michael Lamey that joined the team during the summer transfer window. Lamey played on the right defence, whereas Iliev played as a left midfielder. Adrian Stanek, the youth team player on the everyday basis, was another player to make his debut in Wisła’s main squad.

Wisła had no problems defeating MKS Sławków. The first goal was scored only after 4 minutes by Patryk Małecki. Małecki, positioned as the only attacker, had his day as a scorer – he provided his team with six goals. He defeated the goalkeeper in the 10th, 17th (after a penalty), 23rd, 51st and 81st minute. Ivica Iliev, who was to thank for the fifth goal, and Michael Lamey, who scored with a header, celebrated their first goals for Wisła. The last goal was scored by Łukasz Burliga in the 89th minute after a pass from Patryk Małecki.
