Once the opening whistle blew, Wisła Kraków players tried to break through the defensive line and the player that stood out in this aspect was the captain Jakub Błaszczykowski. The first effect of this tactic was seen already at the beginning when Wisła striker Krzysztof Drzazga got a ball from Lucas Guedes and put it into the net. However, with the passage of time the host team started to get more confident.
