After a last second loss in the game against Kielce, Wisła managed to pull off a close win with Śląsk. The victorious goal was scored in the 93rd minute by Ivica Iliev. However, Wisła had two heroes that day, as Sergei Pareiko stopped a penalty in the 82nd minute.

The first minutes of the game belonged to the team from Kraków who created a great goal-scoring opportunity in the 13th minute. However, the home team's attempts were stopped twice by Kelemen. Kraków had one more opportunity in the 31st minute, when Genkov stormed into Śląsk's penalty box, but his shot went past the post. The visitors responded with several dangerous attacks on Sergei Pareiko's goal. The White Star's goalkeeper, however, managed to stop Mila's shot from several metres in the 38th minute. Three minutes later, Śląsk's captain botched a shot on an empty goal.

Wrocław remained in control of the game after halftime, but was still unable to score. Near the end of the game, the visitors had two more opportunities to take the lead, but Cetnarski wasted both. First, he failed a one-on-one, and then his penalty shot was stopped by Pareiko. In the third minute of added time, Ivica Iliev fooled his rivals on the 16th metre and slotted the ball in with a precise kick.
