The game at Konwiktorska went off to a good start for Polonia who had its first attempt at goal just 9 minutes in. Miłosz Przybecki got a high ball past Wisła's defenders. The striker was one-on-one with Pareiko but headed the ball just beside the post.

Wisła woke up after about 20 minutes. In the 34th minute the team from Kraków grasped its chance. Ivica Iliev passed from the end line back towards Cezary Wilk who slotted the ball in with a powerful shot.

The equaliser broke the rivals' concentration which resulted in another goal for Kraków in the second half. In the 52nd minute, Iliev passed from the left side to Małecki who forwarded the ball to Burliga. Burliga sent the ball inside the penalty box where Michał Chrapek took advantage of the defenders' passive reaction, scoring his first goal for Wisła.
The home team went all out but despite several goalscoring chances the three points went to Wisła.
