The White Star was troubled by injuries, and Maciej Scorża was forced to put a midfielder, Wojciech Łobodziński, on the right side of the defense. Wisła’s new players, Mariusz Jop and Andraż Kirm, played from the very start of the match.

Quite unexpectedly, the Igor Prins’ team was the first to take the lead in the first half. With every minute of the game, Wisła began playing more vigorously, however, was lacking sufficient effectiveness in its attack.
