Stolarczyk: Happy with the effort my players showed
Published: 07-08-2018 15:08The White Star come back home without points from the first away game this season. Maciej Stolarczyk team lost slightly to Jagiellonia Białystok 0-1. The coach was disappointed but, at the same time, happy with what his players showed.
Maciej Stolarczyk said during the post-match press conference:

It's obvious we're disappointed with the result. However, I have to praise my players because they showed big committement and effort and we were close to becoming happy.

With no doubts, that card changed the course of the match. When Mateusz Lis entered the pitch, he wasn't completely warmed up and I asked him to keep his position between the posts because it seemed to me that the Jagiellonia player would kick there. That's why I put the blame for that goal on me.
