President Jacek Bednarz expressed his satisfaction with the acquisition of the new players who will help coach Franciszek Smuda and the team achieve their goals. “I am very excited to welcome Semir Stilić and Danijel Klarić in our ranks. Both will have important roles to play. Semir will be starting immediately and Danijel will join him in the future”, said the Chairman. “We are counting on them and will do our best to make them feel welcome in the team”, he added.

Danijel Klarić was smiling as he spoke of his new club. “In my opinion, we are the best club in Poland and I’m very proud to be a part of it. I can play as either a striker or as the classic playmaker”, he said. “I believe that Wisła is a great club with great players capable of reaching the top”, he added.

When asked about how he feels in a new place and club, Stilić replied: “I’m currently looking for an apartment, so I’ve already gotten to know Kraków.” When I was playing for Poznań, I used to hear only good things about this place.” The midfielder also commented on training sessions with his new teammates. “Our team is looking good, we’re well prepared. During training sessions and practice games, I did my best to convince the manager from the first minute that I really want to play. This is why I came here - to give my team what it needs and help it achieve a higher level”, he explained.
“I arrived late, but I did practice individually in Sarajevo. I can honestly say that I made solid progress during the camp in Turkey”, he said. “It was tough, but we all know how it is with our coach. With every practice game, our team formed a better and better bond. Cooperation with Garguła, Chrapek and Brożek is also going well”, Stilić added.

Stilić also summed up the team’s performance in training. “We improve our form with every game and we are making up for losses. I think we understand each other pretty well and it’s all looking good. We play the kind of football that coach Smuda likes. Something similar to Barcelona style. Of course, I am not comparing us to Barcelona, but I do believe that the fans like this kind of football and that is what we are trying to deliver”, he said. “Practice games are for experimenting and evaluating individual players. The most important thing is to be successful in the league and regain our form, be active on the pitch and make our coach happy”, he concluded.
