Slovenia’s national team player joins Wisła!

Andraž Kirm is a left midfielder, born on September 6, 1984 in Ljubljana. He is 183 cm tall and weighs 73 kilos.

He has been tested by Wisła for the last few days. The contract signed on Thursday is valid until June 30, 2014. Andraž Kirm returns to Ljubljana today, and will soon travel to Grosspetersdorf to join other players in their training session. The new midfielder speaks perfect English. Andraž Kirm will wear number 17.

„I am very happy about the contract. I am well aware of the expectations and goals of Wisła, and I will be glad to contribute. I feel that I've made the right decision” – told the new White Star player right after the contract was officially signed.

Andraž Kirm has won the title of a Slovenian champion (twice) and a vice-champion (once) with NK Domžale, a Slovenian football club he joined in 2005. The 25-year-old midfielder played 120 games and scored 22 times in the  Slovenian First Football League. Kirm scored 7 goals in the previous season, with NK Domžale ranked 5th.

Kirm has been also selected to the Slovenia’s national team. He appeared 17 times in the national team. In September 2008, he played against Poland in a World Cup 2010 qualifier in Wrocław. The match finished in a draw.
