Sławomir Peszko was born on 19 February 1985 in Jasło. His football career began in the team of Nafta Jedlicze and then, he joined Wisła Płock where he spent six seasons. In the 2005-06 season his team won the Polish Cup and a few years later, with Lech Poznań, he won the league title, the Supercup and once again the Polish Cup.
