Nigerian player on trial at Wisła

On Monday, Nigerian midfielder Emmanuel Sarki started his trial at Wisła. In the coming week, the player will be practicing with the first team. He will also attend the first training camp in Turkey.

Emmanuel Sarki was born on 26 December 1987 in Kaduna, Nigeria. He plays as a midfielder. He started his football career in local club Ranchers Bees FC. In 2002, he joined Gowis International. In 2003, he signed a contract with Chelsea, but was unable to find a spot in the line-up. In July 2004, he was loaned to Ajax Cape Town, and a year later to Lyn Oslo. After a few months, Sarki returned to England, and in 2006, he moved to KVC Waterloo, where he spent the next four years. In the Belgian league, Sarki played 72 games and scored one goal. The Nigerian's next club was FC Ashdod from Israeli, where he moved to in September 2010. He played 31 games there, scoring one goal. In the 2011/2012 season, he moved to Belgian Second Division club Waasland-Beveren. Currently, he is a free agent.

The midfielder also played for the Nigerian U17 national team. In 2003, he played in three World Youth Championship games    in.Finland.

The player will now be evaluated by Wisła Kraków training staff as a possible candidate for the team.
