It’s not a secret that the Polish team does not have a problem with goalkeepers. I am very pleased that I was able to join such distinguished company "- he says.

Competition on the position in the representation, which, according to many, is the most stressful one on the pitch, it is really big. Boruc, Szczęsny, Fabiański, Tytoń, these names are recognized not only by Polish fans. Which one does Miśkiewicz value most? "It's hard to choose, to be honest. They are all very good goalkeepers. Artur is now injured, but the place between the posts will not be given up easily. Therefore, rivalry for this position in the team of coach Nawałka will certainly continue until the very end"- added the pupil of Jarosław Tkocz, the goalkeeping coach.

 

Is this the best Christmas present the White Star goalkeeper could wish for? "Certainly, when it comes to sports, this is the nicest gift I could hope to receive. Especially, since it wasn’t expected. I didn’t anticipate it, and I never even thought about the fact that my first match of 2014 may be with the Polish national team "- he responds modestly.

"The main thing for me was to play regularly, and it worked. I did not think, however, that it would go so well. I was appreciated by a lot of people, including coach Adam Nawałka. Year 2013 was the best of my career"- ends Miśkiewicz, summarizing the difficult rounds he went though together with his team.
