Miśkiewicz under fire… of questions
Published: 18-11-2013 14:10At 6:00 PM today, Michał Miśkiewicz, the White Star keeper, met with the fans in the Media Pavillion. This was another in a series of meetings organized jointly by the Wisła Kraków Fan Association and the club.

Right from the start Michał had to face a difficult question about his debut in the Ekstraklasa match with Zagłębie Lubin, during which he took the ball out of the net four times. "It couldn’t have been worse - he said - but many people in the club really supported me. Starting with President Jacek Bednarz, other players, and coaches. That is why I’m here today"- he added.
Miśkiewicz also had to reveal how he ended up playing for the famous AC Milan. With a smile on his face he joked: "They were looking for someone who could make pierogi, and I was perfectly qualified for the job. That's why they chose me." Then, in all seriousness, the Goalkeeper said: "When it comes to Italian cuisine, my specialty is carbonara."
"I do not remember my debut as a fan. Certainly the first game I watched was on TV, and my first game was the Polish Cup, but I do not remember who was playing against Wisła Kraków"- he said, in answer to question of a fan about whether he remembered his first game as a White Star fan.
In an unusual and rare event, the gathered White Star supporters could hear Michał respond to a question asked by one of the fans in Italian.
Miśkiewicz displayed an enormous sense of humor and down to earth attitude throughout the meeting, answering many interesting questions. However, the remaining questions and answers shall remain a secret. The sports biography of this player is very interesting: for who is not curious as to how he managed to get from Kmita Zabierzów into the Italian league, how the young players there are coached, or what the club rivalry is like...
