Melikson joined the White Star in January 2011 from Israeli Hapoel Be'er Sheva. He represented Wisła Kraków in 64 games, scoring 10 goals and providing 15 assists. On Monday, 14 January, the midfielder left for Valenciennes FC to undergo medical examination. Today, he signed a two-and-a-half year contract with the French club.

"It has been an honour to play for such a great club. I've had some fantastic moments here in Kraków - ones I would like to thank the fans and my teammates for. I promise to visit Kraków again when I have the opportunity" – said the former White Star player after signing the new contract.

The club would like to thank Maor for representing the White Star and wish him all the luck in his further career.
